Under the supervision of the Garage Supervisor, the successful candidate will participate in working with a growing and highly motivated team in a fast-paced environment.

BIG RESPONSABILITIES

• • Manage the safety of employees through leading by example and operating to the highest standards while respecting all regulations

  • Repairs and service maintenance on highway trucks and trailers.

  • Repairs and service maintenance on light-duty pick-up trucks.

  • Light repairs and service maintenance on CAT and Volvo wheel loaders.

  • Welding experience with MIG and stick primarily.

  • Hydraulic line building and repair.

  • Tire removal and replacement on all above-mentioned equipment.

  • Small engine diagnostic and repair.

  • Some fabrication

  • Support team members in achieving excellence in all areas.

  • Ensure that all employees work in accordance with the rules, policies, programs, and procedures of the Company.

  • Report any safety hazards to the supervisor/manager.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned pertaining to the position

REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSETS - TECHNICAL KNOLEDGE AND GENERIC SKILLS

• • High School diploma (grade 12) or equivalent

  • Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Truck and Transport Technician Certification

  • Good safety and attendance record

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow exact procedures.

  • Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership qualities

  • Flexibility to meet changing needs within the business.
