Global Mission of the position

Under the supervision of the Sawmill Superintendent, the successful candidate will participate in coordinating the activities and work at the garage.

BIG RESPONSABILITIES

• Committed to a top performance in a safe work environment.

• Process requisitions and purchase orders for parts and supplies

• Maintain service intervals for loaders, log trucks and all other machinery

• Coordinate and organize priorities effectively

• review and document pre trip check lists for machinery

• Maintain and acquire parts stock, material supplies and lubricant stock

• Schedule day to day maintenance activity

• Create and process work orders for repairs and services

• Supervise mechanics daily activities and safe work habits

• Performs other duties as assigned to be deemed in the best interest of the organization.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS & ASSETS TECHNICAL KNOLEDGE GENERIC SKILLS

• High School diploma (grade 12) or equivalent

• Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in a manufacturing or an industrial environment is an asset.

• Flexibility to meet changing needs within the business.

• Experience in mobile equipment and diagnosing mechanical issues

• 4-7 Years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment

• Committed to a top performance in a safe work environment.
